The Articling Experience at NPM (Toronto)
At NPM (Toronto), we believe that the articling experience is fundamental to a lawyer’s future professional success. One of our main goals is to ensure that each student is fully integrated into the NPM team. We aim to maximize our student’s exposure to all aspects of the firm, and to provide her/him with the appropriate guidance and training to ensure a meaningful articling experience. We take a teamwork-based approach to articling; students are given the opportunity to work closely with both associates and partners on all aspects of the litigation process. We believe that this approach fosters and enhances a collegial atmosphere – and we take our collegiality seriously. You will not be limited to performing library research. We strive to ensure that a healthy balance is maintained between theoretical and practical projects.
Our lawyers come from diverse backgrounds, and represent law schools from across the country, as well as abroad. Due to the size and nature of our practice at NPM (Toronto), we hire only one articling student each year.
